Kindergarten

JNY Kindergarten is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment where young children can learn, grow, and thrive. We are proud to offer the International Early Years Curriculum, which is designed to inspire and engage our students in their early learning journey. Our experienced teachers use a variety of teaching methods and resources to ensure that each child is given the best possible start in their educational journey.

The learning focus of the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC)  is designed to offer both breadth and depth of education through meaningful experiences. This approach aims to unlock the full potential of each child and incorporates the support provided by their family to establish a solid foundation for their future learning and academic achievements.

Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to provide developmentally appropriate thematic units of learning. These units are enriched with descriptions, allowing for a playful and engaging learning environment that empowers children to take an active role in their own education. With a focus on fostering inquiry and agency, our curriculum provides a pathway for children to explore and discover their world in a significant way.

4 Core Cycle

There is a 4-core value cycle for our students on their learning journey at JNY Kindergarten:

The first important core value that we introduce to our students is to be independent. The student aims to promote confidence, self-esteem, and self-reliance to develop into strong, competent human beings who are ready to take on the world and its challenges.

The second core value is respect. We lead by example the importance of respecting others to develop positive relationships in their inner circle and community throughout their life. They learn how to be tolerant, listen to others, be open-minded and also develop good manners.

Our third essential core is Resilience. It cultivates a positive growth mindset, practises awareness and gratitude towards others. It is vital for our students’ mental health and shapes partly individual characteristics.

The fourth value, JNY Kindergarten, aims to keep embracing opportunities to learn throughout our student’s life as long-life learners.
