Kindergarten

JNY Kindergarten is unique as we design our curriculum as school-based curriculum development. We combine National and International best practices from the East and the West into our holistic education for our students. We do believe that every child will grow to their utmost potential according to their milestone of development. Integrating experiential learning into the lesson is a complete journey that students can experience during their early years at our Kindergarten.

JNY Kindergarten philosophies also instills into our daily activities that we prepare for our students:

  • We nurture the minds through examples that the children need in their life.
  • We want our students to be proud of their own identity and respect other values without leaving one’s identity.
  •  We provide a positive, fun and safe environment to aim for a high-quality programme with a balanced   progressive curriculum allowing each child to grow and develop according to their age.

4 Core Cycle

There is a 4-core value cycle for our students on their learning journey at JNY Kindergarten:

The first important core value that we introduce to our students is to be independent. The student aims to promote confidence, self-esteem, and self-reliance to develop into strong, competent human beings who are ready to take on the world and its challenges.

The second core value is respect. We lead by example the importance of respecting others to develop positive relationships in their inner circle and community throughout their life. They learn how to be tolerant, listen to others, be open-minded and also develop good manners.

Our third essential core is Resilience. It cultivates a positive growth mindset, practises awareness and gratitude towards others. It is vital for our students’ mental health and shapes partly individual characteristics.

The fourth value, JNY Kindergarten, aims to keep embracing opportunities to learn throughout our student’s life as long-life learners.
