Curriculum

We implement the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint Curriculum and the Singapore IPSLE from Primary 1 to Primary 6, using English as themain language for instruction in most of the subjects and extra-curricular activities; classes for ChineseLanguage and Bahasa Indonesia will be conducted in accordance with respective language requirements.

Core Subjects

English Language, Chinese Language and Culture (include Moral Education), Bahasa Indonesia, Mathematics and Science.

*Singapore textbooks will be used to teach English Language, Chinese Language, Mathematics, and Science.

Other Subjects

Social studies, Physical Education (PE) Visual Art, Music & Dance
Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) and Religious Studies (Agama).

Thinking Skills and Information & Communication Technology are also taught to develop students’ aestheticpotential as well as to impart in them relevant computing skills to promote active learning.

Those with the potential to excel will take part in international competitions such as Asia Pacific Mathematics Olympiad for Primary Schools, Australia Mathematics/Science Competition, and America Mathematics Competition. Students will be encouraged to take part in inter-school/national competitions or tournaments organisedfor Art & Design, Chess, Essay Writing, Photography & Media, Robotics, Music, Dance, Drama, Badminton, Basketball, Soccer, Swimming, Table Tennis, and Tennis.

Feedback

Progress reports will be issued to parents termly during the Student Performance Conference session tokeep parents informed of their children's learning progress and performance. One-time informal sessionswill be held with parents to discuss on matters of concern. Parents' feedback and constructive suggestionswill be valued to enhance school-parents partnership in the education of our children.
